Defunding the police

For several weeks, we have heard calls to “defund the police.” Is such an action feasible and would it alleviate the problems in policing?

We spoke to Anil Anand, retired police inspector and author of: “Mending Broken Fences Policing.” Anand has worked in several parts of policing including as an expert witness, as an undercover officer and for Interpol. Here’s what he had to say about the movement.
