As Canada embarks on a review of its defence policy, the Mackenzie Institute is bringing together diverse actors in the security and defence space for a topical discussion on geopolitical and global security issues that will influence future policy-making.

The conference seeks to raise awareness on current and future geopolitical trends in order to best inform the needs of the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces as it reviews Canada’s defence policy. Panelists will provide insights into global issues and their influence on Canada’s national security in order to improve its capacity to address complex and pressing domestic and global challenges. This is a timely policy discussion given the current global geopolitical, security and humanitarian landscape.
