You Ask, We Answer: What Happened in Saudi Arabia?

On the United States’ Independence Day, and just days after Canada Day, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia experienced three suicide bombings within 24 hours. Of course, Saudi Arabia has dealt with terrorist attacks on its soil before, but the timing and location of each attack has made these particular incidents especially intriguing and worrying. As the Muslim holy month of Ramadan comes to an end after being riddled with ISIS-inspired attacks, we consulted with Janice Stein – Professor at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Belzberg Professor of Conflict Management, in the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto – to discuss what happened in Saudi Arabia and what the implications are.
