The Burkina Faso Attacks

Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) claimed responsibility for last week’s hotel attack in Burkina Faso, killing 29 people. Six Canadians were killed: aid worker Yves Carrier, his wife Gladys Chamberland, children Maude and Charlelie, and family friends Louis Chabot and Suzanne Bernier—all from Quebec.
