MI’s University Speakers Series visits Queens University to Discuss Foreign Fighters and Radicalization

On March 26th, 2015, The Mackenzie Institute hosted the inaugural University Speaker Series event at Queens University on “Foreign Fighters and Radicalization from a Canadian Perspective.” Nearly 100 students attended the event that was hosted in conjunction with the Queens University International Affairs Association (QIAA), and the Queens Centre for International and Defence Policy (CIDP). The event was moderated by The Mackenzie Institute’s board member, Dr. Emily Spencer, and featured expert speakers from the fields of defence, international relations, and psychology, including: Colonel Bernd Horn, Dr. Wagdy Loza, Dr. Christian Leuprecht, and Shabnam Assadollahi.
