Quilliam released a report on children in the caliphate. It documents the complex environment in which children are used, recruited and radicalized in conflict settings. One of the most shocking findings reveals there are currently 31,000 pregnant women in Islamic State. Quilliam’s Senior Researcher Nikita Malik says “the goal of ISIS in using children is having a much longer-term generation of individuals who believe in it and are willing to die for it.”
