There is no question that we are seeing more examples of radicalization, but where does it begin? Is the current wave of Islamic inspired terrorism the result of the “Islamization of radicalism” or the “radicalization of Islam?” The problem is a classic case of chicken and egg. Which comes first, Islamic radicalization or the radicalization of already ‘stray’ youth?
